Perpetual Records (ft. Daito Manabe)
FutureScope unfolds through three transformative evolving chapters, each a journey compiled with two intertwined dimensions - Exhibition mode and Performance mode. Across these journeys, collaborations with visionary artists will open a one-of-a-kind celestial experience for our city – a space where art, technology and collective wonder converge.
The inaugural chapter, Perpetual Records, draws inspiration from the Akashic Records, a concept rooted in the Sanskrit word Akasha, meaning “ether” or “space”. It symbolizes the origin and vessel of all existence, an invisible archive that holds the imprints of humanity’s past, present , and potential futures. In the exhibition mode, we invite audience to step inside this flow of generative visuals, but with interactive technology, perception becomes participation as well. The soundscape of the piece created in collaboration with well-known media artist Daito Manabe, transforms the space into an immersive world of generative audio-visual memory archive. Together, audience and the creation weave an evolving dimension of shared moment, a reflection of collective existence.
